My Peugeot 406 HDI decided not to turn the electrics off when the key had been turned to the off position, I removed the battery connector and reconnected it, started the car again, turned the key to the off position and now not only did the electrics remain on, but so did the engine. The only way to stop the engine was to remove the shunt fuse.
I have now replaced the shunt fuse with this cable and switch.
Probably works on Citroens as well!
